In my opinion if you are looking for a straightener that is going to last and make your hair smooth than ceramic is the best way to go. The fast heating ceramic element gives you full styling control and creates a negative ion charge that seals in moisture, natural oils and hair color for total hair protection. The titanium straightener can leave your hair damaged and a frizzy mess after long term use.
Ceramic straighteners have a simple design and very thin making it very easy to handle. Ceramic also has even heat distribution across the plates surface which means that the whole plate is an even temperature. I know you local salon recommended the titanium straightener and some people are happy with them but most salons use the titanium because it can heat up so quickly which saves them time and in a salon time is money.
The titanium straightener has one great feature it heats up very quickly and can get very hot but this is not good for your hair it can dry it out and damage very quickly.
My other complaint with the titanium is that sometimes it gets so hot that on some you can barely hold the handle because the whole straightener gets hot. I have done a lot of shopping around before I made my purchase and my final decision was the ISO ceramic straightener. ISO is the brand I am sure many of you have seen.Have you been to your local mall recently and the person at the kiosk is trying to straighten your hair well that is the brand I purc. Although I could not afford the one in the mall but I researched the online and found this store that had great prices and fast shipping. I am very happy with my ISO and I have had it for 2 years now I could not recommend a better and longer lasting straightener and also affordable. Here is the link to the site I got my ISO for such a great deal. Also remember to send in your warranty card if you do so it will carry a lifetime warranty.
