One of the things that many women may struggle with in regards to their beauty is dry hair. Fortunately, there are many home treatments that women can perform themselves which will help them cultivate healthy hair.

With the constant use of blow driers, curling irons and straighteners, it can be quite easy to cause you hair to dry out and develop split ends. Living in areas where the air is really dry or where these is a lot of wind can also cause these conditions.

One of the home treatments that you may want to try is the application of hot oil. Hot oil applied to wet hair can seal in the moisture and help prevent split ends.

In addition, it can help smooth out dry and damaged hair so that it does not appear as frizzy. In order to apply a hot oil treatment, you will want to wash your hair like normal.

Then, apply a hot oil of your choice with the concentration on the ends of your hair while your hair is still wet. The best way to do this is to heat the oil up in plastic bag in a sink full of hot water.

After you have applied to oil, wrap your hair in a towel or cover with a shower cap. You should leave the oil on your hair for at least thirty minutes to receive the entire benefit.

Then, you will need to shampoo and condition your hair like normal. Your hair will be much softer and it will be much shinier as well.

The oil you purchase to apply to your hair does not have to be expensive. In fact, you probably have oil that you can use already in your home.

One type of oil you may want to use is jojoba oil. Jojoba oil is well known for its softening effect and its detangling ability.

Of course, olive oil can also be effectively used on your dry and damaged hair. Olive oil is good for replenishing various nutrients and bringing out the inherent beauty in your hair.

It also enhances the elasticity in your hair, which helps protect it against breakage and damage. Olive oil is one of the most common oils to be found at home.

Coconut oil is also a great substance to use in a hot oil treatment. This oil is primarily good to help lubricate your hair.

It contains magnesium, potassium, calcium and iron. These things are very effective for helping strengthen your hair so that it will not suffer more damage.

You may also want to consider using rosemary herbal oil. Rosemary herbal oil can help repair dandruff issues.

It works the best if you concentrate your application on the scalp. You can use a combination of various oil treatments to address various problems.

There are also other things that you can apply to your hair that you may find at home which can help repair the damage it has suffered. One thing you may want to try is applying an avocado paste.

Simply blend an avocado with a little water or oil so that you can easily coat your hair with it. Like the application of oil, let it sit on your hair for 20 minutes before you wash it out.

Another thing you may want to consider applying is mayonnaise. Mayonnaise should also be allowed to sit on your scalp for 20 minutes before you wash it out.

It can help add moisture back into your hair. However, it can make the roots of your hair too oily so you may want to only apply it to the ends.

Lastly, you may also want to apply raw egg to your hair. You should be careful not to spread raw egg around the house as it can smell bad and it is not very healthy.

To prepare the egg, you will need to beat it in a small bowl. You should coat your hair with it and then allow it to stay on your hair for about 30 minutes.

After half an hour, you can rinse it from your hair using cool water so that the egg does not cook onto your hair. It will be much harder to remove if it cooks into your hair.

Wash your hair like normal after this. The egg will lend extra volume to your damaged hair.
